Q:How do I get something released on MMR?

    A. We are always looking for new bands to work with. Feel free to send a press pack to MMR! 1632 S Preston, Louisville, KY 40217. You can also message us on myspace. We prefer press packs over myspace links. We get flooded links on a daily basis. Plus, getting stuff in the mail is always way more exciting.

    Q:What's a Press Pack?

    A. A press pack usually includes but is not limited to:
    1. Anything you have released so far. We are not expecting you to have your own packaging, but it always looks better if you do. This shows that we know you are serious about what you are doing.

    2. Photos. Not just promo pics. Send us pics of you guys playing out. These can be on a cd or actual photos.

    3. Examples of merch you have created yourselves. We aren't expecting you to load us up with shirts and hoodies. But pictures of these things are encouraged. Just send us patches, buttons, anything else you are pushing. Again, already having your merch is another way of showing you are serious about what you are doing. You already making attempts to do it yourself is something we are looking for.

Q:Can you help my band with tour booking?

    A. Yes and No. We do have contacts we can send your way. If you're looking for a show in our town we will try our best to get you set up. We won't however, book a 3 month summer tour for you.

Q:Do you take royalties from units sold?

    A. No. What you make is yours. All we ask is that you front the cost for the production materials and once in a while you may have to front shipping costs.
We do keep a small amount of all the runs to keep in our online store and to put on merch tables to help promote both the bands and the label. All money made off those sales goes directly into label costs.

    Q:Can you make me rich?

    A. Very few good bands make money. If you are serious about your band, you know this already.
